Times have really changed. Here’s a commercial by Nike featuring Amar’e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, DeSean Jackson and Ken Griffey Jr. This commercial speaks to me different than most b/c Nike and Footlocker hired graffiti artist Grotesk, to create the animation and The Cool Kids (I have a huge respect for both graff and really good Hip-Hop), to produce the track. Just think – Hip-Hop was frowned upon (and still is) not that long ago by many, Now it gets the attention of mainstream media. Here’s more on the nikefreshair commercial.
I guess Will.I.Am was right – “IT’S A NEW DAY!”
